Leiden Municipality funds several innovative educational projects. Examples of those: De Leidse Aanpak, LEF, and of course, this project: Museum Debate. Internationally important collections of ancient relics and artistic masterpieces encourage creative thinking offer object-based learning by doing and discovering, and hands-on interactivity leads to understanding.
We have a dynamic network of students, teachers and museum educators encouraging creative thinking and practical experimentation within the devlopment of the Leiden Debating Learning Line from ages 10-25. Our Leiden Museum’s resources are used as inspiration across history, art, science, literacy, historical reasoning, critical thinking, argumentative public speaking, citizenship, geography and drama.
